Kheerganga Trek is one of the most well-known trekking destinations in Himachal Pradesh. It has located in the Parvati Valley. Kheerganga (3050 meters) lies at the extreme end of Parvati valley and the last inhibited village while trekking to pin valley via Pin-Parvati pass. It has nestled deep in the scenic Parvati Valley. Its history is believed to be dated thousands of years back, with the natural place coming into existence as the abode of Lord Shiva.
When is the best time to visit Kheerganga?
The ideal time to plan a Kheerganga trek is the between the month of May to November. The climate during this period is extremely pleasant in Kheerganga and in nearby places such as Manali and Kasol. It is better to avoid the trek during the winter season as the large lumps of snow makes trekking quite an impossible task.During winter, the snow trails are quite hard to step upon.

Nakhtan Village. This route is lined with exquisite panoramic views of the mountains but it is preferred by the photography enthusiasts. This route is the most popular route to Kheerganga and traverses along the left side of the Parvati River. It is a short and easy trek, which even beginners can undertake.
