khajjiar is the known as ‘mini-Switzerland of India’.On 7 July 1992, Swiss Envoy Willy P. Blazer, Vice Counselor and Head of Chancery of Switzerland in India brought Khajjiar on the world tourism map by calling it “Mini Switzerland”. He also put a sign of a yellow Swiss hiking footpath showing Khajjiar’s distance from the Swiss capital Berne.it is very beautyfull palce and peacefull hill station for tourits. Khajjiar is a small town near Dalhousie which provides tourists a unique combination of forests, lakes and pastures. Khajjiar is a must visit place for everyone coming to Dalhousie and its nearby regions. However, the way to Khajjiar can be closed sometimes during winters because of heavy snowfall.
