From its meager beginnings, this store has gone on to become one of the most popular stores in Dharamshala. Many Tibetans were trained into weaving and employment was provided to them. They provide accommodation and assist children with their education. The center also embarks in several noble activities such as coordinating Medicare, providing a pension plan for retired workers, caring for the workers and funeral expenses for their families. They also make important contributions in exile, for the Tibetan Government.
