WelcomHeritage Judge’s Court is regarded as one of India’s finest country hotels. Its set in a heritage village on the edge of the Himalyan Mountains. It is a large splendid Country Manor designed in the Indo-European tradition. The buildings stand in a 12-acre orchards consisting of mango, lychee, plum, citrus and exotic trees like camphor, clove and cardamom.Alongside this ancestral cottage is a large country manor designed in the Indo-European tradition – set amidst 12 acres of orchards overlooking the Dauladhar Mountains – built in 1918 by Bhandhari Ram for his son, Justice Sir Jai Lal. The property was therefore commonly referred to as Judge Sahib Ki Kothi and the name of The WelcomHeritage Judge’s Court stuck.It substantially grows its own fruit, vegetables, wheat, maize and oil seeds. Milk is from an owned dairy on the premises. Water is exclusively piped from an ancestral mountain spring. Preserves are from the “green” produce of the orchard.
