- 1) Khajjiar:- Khajjiar is a hill station in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Khajjiar is Nearby, the high-altitude Khajjiar Lake is surrounded by cedar forest. West, Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including deer and bears. Farther west, Dalhousie is a hill station with mountain views, dotted with temples and 19th-century British churches. - 2) Dainkund Peak:- Dainkund peak trek starts from the village of Alha. Alha is around 6 km from Dalhousie. The 4.5 km trekking trail takes you through lush green woods of deodar and a spectacular ridge. Dain Kund is located atop the hill that is surrounded by thick forest in all directions. The winds passing by slip through these trees and sounds produced create an aura as if there is an ongoing dialogue between the high ranges and the cold breeze. And that’s why another name; the Singing Hill. Dainkund offers a 360 degree view in literal sense.
- 3) Chamera Lake:-The Chamera Dam impounds the River Ravi and supports the hydroelectricity project in the region. It is located near the town of Dalhousie, in the Chamba. The reservoir of the dam is the Chamera Lake. The unique feature of the region is the fluctuating day and night temperature. The temperature during the day near the dam rises up to 35 degrees Celsius and drops to a minimum of 18 to 20 °C at night.
