One of the most charming valleys in the whole Kinnaur District, Sangla Valley is a perfect getaway from the hustle bustle of the swarming cities. Sangla is a town in the Baspa Valley, also referred to as the Sangla valley, in the Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh, India, close to the Tibetan border. Sangla is a beautiful place with a wide variety of trees and flowers growing everywhere. With wide stretches of lush green lands stretched across the Sangla Valley, gazing at the colourful trees is a sight to behold. They make the valley look more surreal, more resplendent and fresh.

The climate during the months that start from March and extend until June is a bit warm in the daytime but very pleasant as well. This season is ideal for engaging in outdoor activities and is easily the best time to visit this scenic hilltop. Adventure fanatics can enjoy camping in the open and fishing in the Sangla valley as well. Temperatures rise to an average high of 28°C and drop to 15°C-18°C in the night, making it a great time to enjoy nature at its best in the most amazing surroundings possible.
The months from October to February in Sangla witness a harsh winter. Temperatures are low and about an approximate of 5°C-8°C in the daytime, while the nights are extremely cold with temperatures dropping down to -10°C. This season sees heavy snowfall that covers the high mountains, making Sangla look like a postcard picture. It is difficult to do things and explore places during winters due to most of the region being covered in heavy snow. Although roads are blocked during this time and there is not much scope to move around, the atmosphere which is created during winter is absolutely breathtaking.
