Sarahan
Sarahan is a beautiful small village. It has situated near Kinnaur in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The village is known as the gateway of Kinnaur. It has famous Bhimakali Temple. The Bhimakali Temple houses the “Kuldevi” of Bushahr Kingdom. This Temple is the prime attraction of Sarahan. Because this temple is one of 51 Shakti Peethas.
The Bhimakali Temple contains both Hindu and Vajrayāna Buddhist statues and decorations. Because it reflect the trade through here between India and Tibetan regions through ancient Indo-Tibetan Road.
Sarahan is a beautiful hamlet located in the Sutlej Valley. It is famous for the never-ending apple orchards, deodar forests, wildflower, terraced farms and slate-roofed houses.
