Tosh
Tosh village is in Himachal Pradesh. It is situate near Kasol and this is very beautiful place. The weather of Tosh is pleasant. It is peaceful place for tourists.
The guest houses and the hotels are available both at the entrance and far end of the village. It has scattered villages across the lush green hills juxtaposed against snow-dusted peaks.
Here you can experience the bounty of nature in all its glory, combined with some indigenous as well as exotic experiences. It is located at about 2,400 metres in elevation on a hill near Kasol in the Parvati Valley, surrounded by mountains.
The main occupation of the people in Parvati valley is Tourism. Apple orchards are also a big source of income for the local people.
Best time for visiting in Tosh
The best time to visit Tosh is from April until October since in winters the whole village is covered in snow and becomes quite hidden. However, if you want to enjoy the snow, you can opt for November to February. It has a pleasant weather throughout the year.
Things to do in Tosh
There is nothing much to do in Tosh than to explore the surroundings. With every step you take there will an upsurge in love for this place.Such breathtaking views it provides of the beautiful Parvati Valley.
In addition, as it is becoming quite popular among the backpackers, many trance and psychedelic parties are being organized here.
How to reach
Tosh is a 30-minutes taxi ride from Barchaini. You can also walk to the village. The walk takes 90 minutes along a winding road. To enter the village, one has to walk over a wooden bridge.
