Govt. Arya Degree College, Nurpur an institution of academic excellence was established as Arya College for Girls on June, 1 978 with a meager strength of 20 girls. The institution was started in the sacred memory of Swami Dayanand Saraswati whose name stands among the greatest social and religious reformers of modern India.
